Connecting TrackingTime to UpSheets

Overview

You can connect UpSheets directly to TrackingTime to import your data and upload it to Xero. This streamlines the process and removes the need to export and import CSV files.

Enabling the Clockify Integration with UpSheets

TrackingTime data can be accessed by creating an API Token.

To enable this feature, complete the steps below.

1. To create an API key you must first Register for TrackingTime if you have not already done so.

2. After logging in, from the bottom left menu select Apps & Integrations from the menu and scroll down to the App Passwords section.

3. Click Add Password and name it UpSheets. Click the button to copy the password.

IMPORTANT: Your API Key is made up of your TrackingTime email address and your password separated by a colon.

For example, if your email address is [email protected] and your generated password is P4ssw0rd - the API Key will be [email protected]:P4ssw0rd

4. Select Integrations from the menu in UpSheets and click the TrackingTime tab. Enter the API key and tab out of the field to confirm. If the API Key is valid the integration will now show as enabled.

Note: The API key will be masked after entry for security reasons once entered.
