Pay Item Defaults

When UpSheets is used as the source for Smart Formulas, it may need to create new Pay Items in Xero the first time they are used.

You can set the following default values:

• Exempt from PAYG withholding
• Exempt from Superannuation Guarantee Contribution

These values are used for any new Pay Items created. Once created, Pay Items are not updated automatically, so any Pay Items created before you change these settings must be updated manually in Xero.

For the same reason, if you need to update these settings on existing Pay Items, do it directly in Xero after they have been created.
