Can I upload an Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheet?

UpSheets imports CSV (comma-separated values) files only. You can save a spreadsheet from Excel or Google Sheets as CSV in a few steps, then import and upload it to Xero via UpSheets.

Saving from Microsoft Excel

  1. Choose File > Save As > Format: Comma Separated Values (.csv).
  2. Enter a filename and save the file.

Saving from Google Sheets

  1. Choose File > Download as > Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).
  2. The file downloads (named after the file or sheet, ending in .csv).
